Ariane Schmid studied educational science with a focus on intercultural communication and education at the University of Cologne. At the Mercator Institute, she is co-responsible for the area of networks and consulting in the initiative Transfer of Language Education, Reading and Writing Support (BiSS-Transfer), and is available as a contact person for the members of the expert group Praxis sprachlicher Bildung under the direction of Prof. Dr. Becker-Mrotzek.
