Andrea Schröter

Andrea Schröter studied primary education at the University of Münster. She completed additional studies in Intercultural Education including German as a Foreign Language at the University of Cologne. As a foreign service teacher she taught German as a foreign language as well as mathematics and music in grades 5 and 6 at the German School in Montevideo / Uruguay for several years.
Andrea Schröter is a teacher at an elementary school in Cologne. Accompanying her work as a teacher, she moderates teacher trainings and qualifications for the district government of Cologne in the field of German as a second language. Since 2017, she has been on partial secondment at the Mercator Institute for Language Support and German as a Second Language. Within the framework of the DaZ module, she prepares student teachers of all school types for linguistic heterogeneity in school and teaching.
