Nadine Mayer holds a bachelor’s degree in Translation (Spanish, English) and a master’s degree in German as a Foreign Language. She worked as a German Language teacher in serveral institutions, such as universities, refugee hostels for minors, and studienkollegs. Since August 2019, she has been part of the Mercator Institute as a research associate and as a team member of What works? (Wissen! Was wirkt?) (2019 - 2022), KANSAS (2020 - 2021), Schule macht stark (SchuMaS) (since 2021) and Starke Basis (2022 - 2023).
