Wer wir sind

As a team at the Mercator Institute, we work in an interdisciplinary and project-based manner. We bring together expertise from academia, professional practice, communication, and administration to collectively achieve the Institute’s goals. Our team represents a wide range of disciplinary backgrounds, from German studies, linguistics, and language studies to the teaching of German as a second and foreign language, educational sciences, social sciences, and psychology, as well as intercultural education, ethnology, and the teaching of natural sciences. This opens up a diversity of perspectives that has a beneficial impact on our work to strengthen equal opportunity in the context of multilingualism and language education.
